Implemented Oracle VM to Oracle Classroom

In September, 2008, System Technology I renewed the Oracle Classroom,
implemented with Oracle VM, server virtualization technology.

Maximum 60 Virtual Machines
|
|
Out of 5 Hardware, Dell Power Edge 2950, we allotted one for the
control server, and the other four for client severs. We successfully established the maximum 15
virtual machines per one client server, totally the maximum 60 machines for the four client
servers.

Lower Operational Cost
|
|
We established images, templates integrally containing OS, Middleware,
and application used for Oracle classroom in the control server. By executing commands from
Management Utility, the control server automatically generates each learning environment to a
client server. Whole sets up finishes in only a few minutes and this is a great reduction of
the operation cost in comparison to the previous installation we manually set up the leaning
environment to each local machine.
